Darkhorse Industrial Modern Command Systems Airborne Testbed for Laser Armament Systems, also known as the MCS A.T.L.A.S II is a dedicated technology demonstrator. Made specifically to test high grade tactical lasers.Powered by 4 contra-rotating radial engine. it can achieve speeds of 530+km/h. Its prominent red forward section houses the primary laser module. Planned production called for 20 units to be built. Though only 5 airframes were built as the production of it's dedicated gunship variant were prioritized. It's first use was as a testbed for the ATLS-50 (Advanced Tactical Laser System, 50mW).
