Its not the prettiest thing in the world but it works. Yes this does take off from water. the controls are standard for normal planes.while flying don't move the turrets. if you want to land in water you have to do it in an almost flat angle. to take off from water put it at 100% throttle and then pull up. it should take off from 175-190mph.
