The Bell A-62 King Tiger was a ground attack “tank buster” aircraft designed during World War II. Similar in design to the P-61. It featured a 37mm cannon mounted under the nose in a gun pod, and external pylons for bombs. The aircraft was delivered to Soviet Russia along with the P-39 and P-63 fighters and was built to withstand extreme cold temperatures. The A-62 was a huge success with over 500 examples sent to the Soviet Union, with one such example flying 76 missions before being shot down over Nazi Germany. There were even examples delivered to Great Britain, Poland, Australia, and China, with the longest serving examples in Italy until 1954.

Armament:
1x 37mm cannon
4x 12.7 mm MG
4x 250 Lbs. GP bombs

Well, this plane was a joy to make. I didn’t think it would turn out this well. Unfortunately, I ran into some engine troubles, but CursedFlames helped me fix that problem.
ENJOY!!!
