Formula 1 2022 Concept Car

The 2022 Formula 1 regulations, originally planned to arrive in 2021 (delayed by covid) are designed to allow closer racing, increasing the potential for more overtakes and more competition.

Features:

Speed Effected Suspension

- Self Toggling

• At high speeds, the rear suspension raises the wheels to lower the car to the ground, as seen in the 2021 season, most notably by the Mercedes car shown below:
  
  

DRS (Drag Reduction System)

- Toggle With AG2

• DRS is used in dedicated zones within F1, to allow any cars closely following another (within 1 second) to gain an aerodynamic advantage to provide closer racing and assist overtaking.

Rear Lights

- Toggle With AG1

• During low visibility conditions, such as during heavy rain or mist, the light on the back of an F1 car will be permanently on to act as a warning to other drivers.
