MP-3B "Clementine" (1st Alpine Fighter Group)

The MP-3B "Clementine" is a medium-bomber built by the "Alpine" Air Defence Force, as a means to strike enemy convoys, bombard positions and give support to friendly units. Capable of taking off from short distances, and to fly at low speeds, with very strong gears, the MP-3B is a versatile Mountain-borne bomber, armed with two powerful 37mm cannons in the motorized turret behind the cockpit and two 12mm machine guns in the nose. A bomb bay capable of carrying over 4000lbs of bombload, the aircraft is best suited as a tactical bomber. However, the big airframe is susceptible to AA fire, and the top speed of 300mph makes the aircraft very susceptible to ground targets. The plane has its use as a high-altitude interceptor, as the turret has a wide range of movement

Mode of Operation

The MP-3B is very easy to fly, has good maneuverability for its size, and can glide for a good distance even with dead engines. Ag-1 Activates the Main Turret, moved by Pitch/Roll controls. It has some proximity fuses, and a fine-tuning mode at low inputs for precise firing

Ag-2 activates the Nose machine guns, and are moved by the same commands. Less powerful, but a good defense for the front of the aircraft.

Ag-4 activates the lights, while Ag-5 drops the entire bomb load. Ag-6 opens the bomb bay, and Ag-7 stabilizes the plane, activating Navigation mode. Ag-8 deactivates the plane's surface controls
