about 2 years ago i had a fictional r*blox siren brand called "Sirens Of Robloxia", and i decided to recreate it in SP to bring back some nostalgia. this is not the only siren they ever made, there were multiple models with various functionalities.

In 1990, Velocity Communication Systems was founded by James Ricci in an attempt to revive old school sirens. With the advance of electronic and DC powered sirens, the cold war era air raid sirens couldn't be left behind. Companies like ACA and FS sold several patents to VCS, and various 1950s-1980s designs had their flaws fixed, and were modified to fit better in modern days. Sirens like the Allertor were converted to DC power to allow the siren to run on batteries during a power outage. VCS also attempted to recreate defunct sirens like the SMR-15 and Sentry 95 with no success.

Funny enough all of these are in production today. Their HQ is located in Milwaukee, WI 5 mi from the ASC HQ.

The VCS Omni 7 is a modern alternative to the Fedelcode Mach 7. It's powered by a 7.5 hp brushed DC Motor and a bank of 2 batteries. The siren is 12 port by default, but can be ordered 9/12 port, and can also be ordered with FS Quadraflares for extra visual alert. An 8 port variant was also tested but didn't make into production. Coded versions named Omni 7C and Omni 7CT were available between 1994 and 2000 but were discontinued due to lack of components. The siren outputs 108 dB @ 100 ft. Its shroud has a conical cap and a tight skirt which projects the sound into the floor and disperses it outwards. The fiberglass structure prevents the shroud from rusting and corroding away, making it ideal for use near the coasts.
