HSW Dart "V" Block 1D *READ DESCRIPTION*

3,129 HSAeroWerkes1  6.9 years ago

A new direction for the long lasting and venerable Dart Series from HSW. This craft piggybacks off the success of the X4 Concept fighter. The Dart V features better stealth technology, a smaller radar cross section than its parent design, a higher top speed, improved maneuverability, improved thrust vectoring in 2 dimensions, increased cockpit visibility, longer range, and features a high rate of fire cannon in the right intake. The weapons bay has also been moved toward the front of the craft to allow missiles to clear at higher angles of attack and for better weight distribution. The platform is very much supermanuverable and I've tried to design it to mimic real world supermanuverability. Vectoring works best below 515MPH. The craft is designed to be a low to mid altitude air superiority fighter, its performance drops dramatically after 25,000ft.
