CN-125 Seaplane

328k WinsWings  1.1 years ago

CN-125 Seaplane is a modern SAR (Search and Rescue) seaplane with 2 turboprop engines, and it can land in a moderately rough sea as well as fly for a long time. It is a smaller brother of the famous Canadair's CL-215 seaplane.

This is my fun part efficient build (86 parts) - and freehand build seaplane, inspired by the famous Canadair's CL-215 water bomber seaplane. It fly very nice, landing gears have lots of drag (I leave it on purpose) to slow down the speed while landing. So be sure to keep the landing gear while flying at full speed.

The engine physics: the engines are 6 degree pointed upward to compensate the force since they are way up from the CoM.

I think the boxiness of the wings actually works quite well visually.

@WinsWings it's fine, unofficially, I approve of it, officially, I can't since I've established a ruleset for PEA so it's AI-spawnable, and 1 hour? holy that's fast for such quality XD

@MonarchiiwithastolenMG right. Yes,, I was building this so freely without any restriction, except a few parts. Just a one hour build,

@WinsWings yeah, MAPA Ai-spawnable limitations, at most 7 wings or else it doesn't and will not spawn usually; I usually use cut fuselage for the wingtips to save wing parts and so, it ends up making it look smoother since it's a gradual decrease.. or something along those lines

@MonarchiiwithastolenMG Oh you are right. I did not notice how many wings I used, and have more control surfaces.

@WinsWings while I kinda want to, sadly the wing parts exceeds 7, as such, I cannot accept this to my PEA roster, it looks so damn good though, I really love how you did the cockpit
