The UTD is an Unmaned Training Drone used for target practice. It is armed with mock missiles that will lock you but not fire. The goal of the program is to train pilots in awareness, aim, manuvers, and dogfighting. The UTD is cheap and expendable, therefore it can be used against live munitions.
