This is the Sea Haven. A modified Sea Plane (Simple) with heavy armanent, made in November 8, 1970. It is armed with 20 wing guns on each side, 40 in total. It has 4 torpedos on both pontoons, and 6 Boom 25’s on both sides. It also has 2 Boom 50’s. It was so heavy with armanents, it had to have a second engine since of the weight, and two extra horizontal stabilizers. Both the Bandit and Yeager manufacturers of the Sea Haven were skeptical of the design from the Wright Isle Aircraft Design Co. However, after concerns about how the aircraft could potentially crash fatefully in a spin, it soon was decided to create 6-7 prototypes by October 28, 1970. One small issue was the manufacturers forgot the armanents, and so delayed it to November 7, 1970 to make the armanents. After all of the hard work was finished, they checked everything so there wouldn’t be faliure. 7 prototypes were created. On November 8, 9, and 10, two prototypes for each day would be launched. Here are the prototype names for each day and extra information about these prototypes. November 8: YA-1 and YA-1b: First Sea Havens. These planes were only for testing the performance of the aircraft without armanent. November 9: YA-12 and YA-15: YA-12 would test how aerodynamic the plane is without armanent, unfortunately getting into a spin. YA-15 would test how aerodynamic the plane is with armanent, and succeded. November 10: YA-20 and YA-24: Both did both experiments of previous Sea Havens with armanent, along experimenting with the armanents.
