LFT-62 Jatayu
LFT-62 Jatayu (NATO Code Garuda) is a light jet-powered advanced attack training aircraft made by PT Dirgantara Indonesia. This aircraft was built based on the Banshee X and A-37 Dragon Fly which were capable at that time. This aircraft was made for air warfare and ground attack simulations as well as training Indonesian Air Force fighter pilots.
Varian LFT-62 Jatayu
LFT-62AM Block I
The LFT-62 A variant is the initial variant with no weapons with a digital glass cockpit only equipped and digital Avionics With Fly By Wire which is updated lightweight structure with two Honneywel F-124 GA-200 engines including the latest Digital system With radar grifo 346.
Variant LFT-62 B Block II
The LFT-62 B variant is a development of the LFT-62A with modifications to carry weapons and use the William FJ44 engine, an updated structure carrying the RA-4500 Radar altimeter Radar for missions equipped with a heat-resistant glass cockpit and a new digital Avionics system with maximum fuel capacity.
Varian LFT-62 C Block III
The LFT-62 C Block III variant is an update of the light attack trainer capability for the latest multi-mission simulation with updated aircraft structural components using 2 Honnewel 731 engines with Thales I-master Radar, a new digital cockpit from the UK with digital avionics with AI to lighten the crew's workload with a tandem cockpit side by side to light weapons that can be carried, both 400 kg guided bombs, anti-radiation air-to-surface missiles and wide-radius targets and short-range Air-to-air missiles.
Varian FA-62 Block 52
The FA-62 Block 52 variant is the result of the development of 3 previous variants for advanced crew and pilot training missions including light attack missions and limited air war with the latest component improvements, updated aircraft component structures, including radar and heat-resistant cockpit glass and bullets and special bulletproof components equipped with GE-110-404 engines and Murrad Radar including a digital avionics system equipped with AI to ease the crew in training missions and limited combat missions including seeing the situation of the crew and special military instructors during combat training missions.
