Projet Alekseev Orel 03 ( aigle 3 en russe ) , concurrent du Mig 25 . Cet appareil est resté au stade de prototype ( 2 avions construits ) en 1963 est 1965 .
Alekseev a imaginé le premier prototype comme un chasseur triréacteurs . La maniabilité trop faible , un décollage toujours très délicat , une faible autonomie sont
ses points faibles . Le prototype N° 1 à volé une dizaines de fois . Les pilotes l'avait surnommé en russe "??????" , prononçer straus . Traduction autruche .
