( English version at the bottom of the page )

English version :

I present to you an airplane never reproduced on Simple Planes (unless I am mistaken) .

The Messerschmitt Me 163 Komet (comet), designed by Alexander Lippisch, was the only operational rocket fighter in history.
It required a long development by Messerschmitt and entered the war in a very limited way only, in 1944.
It remains the fastest plane of WWII with peak speeds of over 950 km / h.
It released its wheels on takeoff, and landed on a ventral skate placed under the fuselage.

Hanna Reitsch, who flew in Augsburg on the Me 163 Komet 1, recounts after the war “that in flight it was very easy to fly and
did not need to be strong, but the landing was complicated since carried out in glider mode, it was necessary to reduce the speed e
early enough to make landfall just before the stall ”.
The tests carried out on this plane had already claimed the lives of several pilots and she too was seriously injured.
From the summer of 1943, she took over the controls of the Komet. According to her, "the Komet reached 800 km / h at the end of the airfield
then climbed to 30,000 feet in 2 minutes. It was fascinating, I had the impression of having made a hole in the sky ”

There is a book that tells the story of this extraordinary aircraft, "The evil messerschmitt of Mano Ziegler, test pilot of the Me 163" -

The version I am offering you today is the ME 163S. The Me 163S was a sub-motorized training version, with a second cockpit
for the instructor. Several examples are built, but none seems to have performed powered flight. My version is powered.
Maneuverability, closest to real flight time.

@Mikey101234 , Thank you very much for this story that I did not know . Many pilots of the Me 163 spoke of the Me163 in these terms , It is a very dangerous plane , especially for these pilots and for ground staff .
Mano Ziegler, pilot of the prototype and of the Me 163 on missions, says that an airplane has returned from a flight. He landed in a field next to the runway. The pilot was dissolved by the acid of the fuel, the plane is posed like a glider .

    ERIKA!!!!
Funny fact, either after the war or a few days after an airfield that had an me-163 moment was controlled by the Americans, an American ace fighter asked the German crew of the airfield to take the money out and fuel it up to allow the ace to try and fly it. Anyone who knows a thing about the komet’s rocket engine and the German crew knew hybrid was a bad idea. In fact, the German crew at first refused to do so and after they were told again, they did so cautiously. The thing is, the fuel the money uses is a mixture of two highly dangerous liquids, one was C-Stoff, and the other was T-Stoff. Both are colorless and odorless. If these two fuels even touched each other, they would create an explosion which would propel the 163 forewords. Because of this, a few new groups of German ground crew were created just to clean up the airfield, the hangar, the “fueling truck”, and the me-163 itself. And because the two fuels were both odorless and colorless, a few ground crew died because the two accidentally mixed. Back to the story, the ace flew the plane and when the ace landed the plane, not only were the crew scared, but they were also relieved. Because the two fuels are also very acidic to the skin and have actually dissolved me-163 test pilots before. Not only that but the plane is really hard to land safely
