The T-34-100 was a proposed variant of the T-34-85 tank, but was never mass produced. The T-34-100 was designed to have a larger turret to accommodate a 100 mm gun, but the added weight of the gun caused the turret ring to damage when firing. The T-34-100 was eventually replaced by the T-44, which was better suited to the T-34 chassis.
