"The queen of the south, many have challenged her, none succeeded"
The Arsenian battleship ANS Ferzonna is the lead ship of a class of 4 battleships in the 2nd World war. She was once the largest battleship in the European theater and later the Southern Ocean. She presented one of the gravest threat to shipping, with her speed, large armaments, and armor.
Development
Designed in 1936 the central shipbuilding comite gathered to discuss new ship building efforts. Their discussion focus primarily on the Gretanican and Gremana battleship building. The new King George V class being built and reports Ursean battleship building. Arsenia With their older treaty battleships looking very inadequate there needed a new battleship.
The new ship would be designed primarily to fight the King George V class of battleship but also their surrounding escorts. The design would start out small but soon grew with rumors of very large battleships being built it Hoita. The design was continually expanded and enlarged with each new requirements. Eventually in 1938 it was decided to finally lay down the ship.
Design : ANS Ferzonna
Built like a floating castle the Ferzonna is absolutely bristling with guns. Her primary armaments the 9x MK8U 16 inch 45 caliber guns were one of the most potent at the time. She would also be packing 15x MK7 6 inch guns for anti cruiser duties. Aside from the anti ship loadout she would also carry 22x MK7 5 inch dual use gun for anti air and anti surface. Aside from the large guns she would also be pack full of 40mm Bortis and 20mm Hartell anti air gun. For propulsion she uses 4x powerful steam turbines spinning 4x propeller. She is designed for long solo mission as well as escorting carrier battle groups, as such she possesses an extensive floatplane hangar and launching area in the aft. This allowed for 5x float planes to be stored and operated, giving her any her fleet a substantial scouting force. All of this would be further amplified by one of the most modern radar suites on any naval ships.
Service
In 1941 the hull of ANS Ferzonna would touch the water, right in the midst of the 2nd World War. It would take another 1 and a half year to finally finish her and crew her. Most of her crew would be from other sunken battleship and cruiser to accelerate her commissioning. Finally she would set sail on her first mission in 1943.
Her career in the Atlantic would be relatively uneventful, only doing escort and quick raiding missions, by that time the Royal Gretanican navy had already suffered heavy attrition from the nearly constant battle in the Atlantic. As such Ferzonna would be sent to the Southern Ocean to serve as a flagship of that area.
In the south Ferzonna was absolutely unmatched. No cruise would be able to get into striking distance, no destroyer managed to land a damaging torpedo and most air attacks would fail to breakthrough her dense AA fire. She managed to ravage the Southern Ocean trade routes.
Eventually late 1944 the Ursean navy would sent a task force to deal with the rampaging Ferzonna. Led by the battleship USS Wisconsin and USS Constellation, the task force would also serve to be a kind of test of the new Iowa class's actual performance against modern battleships.
In the late hours of 12th December 1944 the Scout planes of ANS Ferzonna would spot the two incoming battleship heading her way. The slower Ferzonna would have no hopes of running away, as such she chose to stand her ground. A long range artillery duel began with the Wisconsin's radar guided gunnery scoring the first hit. But soon her own radar guided gunnery. At the same time avenger torpedo bomber would launch several attack toward the Ferzonna. The lone battle put up a mighty resistance but eventually due to the combined attack two torpedo managed hit the bow and forward torpedo bulges. Even with the heavy bombardment the Ferzonna stood strong, her large and heavily armoured superstructure withstanding several hits from Wisconsin's and Constellation's guns. With the night approaching the bombers pull back and leaving the battleship and their escorts alone. When the night came Arsenian deatroyers and cruiser would charge the two battleships from the opposite direction of the Ferzonna. Forcing the two battleship into her secondary's range. Here Ferzonna wou lit up the night skies with a continuously stream of 6 and 5 inch shells. The HE ammunition used would leave the Ursean ships an inferno. With heavy damage all around both aides would chose to disengage but the damage to constellation was too severe. The USS constellation would be purposely sunk to avoid her falling into the wrong hand. After the engagement the Ferzonna would slowly return to Arsterusia where she would eventually return to convoy raiding.
After the war, the 2 remaining Ferzonna class battleship would be retained and eventually converted to missile battleships. They would remain in service up until 1975 where they would be decommissioned and converted into museum ships.

Notes
Sorry for this thing being so big (i got to crazy with the AA setup)
I will try making a lower part count version (I am trying out new techniques an such with some other ships)
I just wanted to quickly post this to free up my schedule to focus on finishing the next few stuffs
