Just like her sisters USS Doge and USS Pupper, she was built before WWI. After the war a couple refits happened. First on the list was an Anti-Air defense which came in the form of 4 quad mount guns. Next on the list was a multi-role system which happened to be the 5 inch MK 38 guns. A post-war mod were the bow torpedo tubes. Doggo and Doge would survive Pearl Harbor but Pupper was not so lucky. She was salvaged and converted into an aircraft carrier. The class only retained 8 of the casemate guns. AG 5 for AA, AG 6 and 7 for MK 38’s. Torpedoes are always armed.
