Focke-Wulf FW-230 A-2

119k DestinyAviation  7.1 years ago

Notes:
-Great cockpit view
-Pitching up really hard will make it do "evasive" rolls (controlled)

Controls:
-Action group 1: Drop bomb

History: In August of 1943, Nazi Germany had decided to begin investing in experimental aircraft and helicopters. As a result, the Focke-Wulf company created the FW-230, which eventually had three prototypes (two flying and one for various tests). On March 3, 1944, the A-1 took off, performing the first flight of the FW-230. It flew for three hours before landing back at base. The next day, the A-1 took off again, but was intercepted by a pair of British Spitfires and was subsequently shot down. The program was canceled shortly after with the two remaining prototypes being scrapped.

Perhaps this is a simulation of an airplane. If the Minecraft APK game also has airplanes, it would be interesting.

The FW-230 was an experimental aircraft developed by Focke-Wulf during World War II. It boasted a great cockpit view and could perform controlled evasive rolls when pitched up sharply. It also had a bomb-dropping capability controlled by action group 1. The aircraft had three prototypes, with the A-1 taking its first flight on March 3, 1944, lasting three hours.

The flying Volkswagen Beetle, except this one looks weirder and has a propeller that shouldn't be spinning.
