update; Realized that its more fun with

Get the fish. save it to your build list. then get the squid and spawn the fish.

Something that should not have been attempted in nature let alone by me.

“Squiddy”- the baby Kraken

This creature belongs to the genus Cephalopod which describes cuttlefish, octopi, the monster that myth has named “The Kraken” and the humble squid. The Octopi are annoyed being in the same category as squid because they believe they have more sea cred but they have not met the deep sea squid which can reach enormous lengths and sometimes attack whales.

Like the Octopus, Squids have eight legs.

-What did you say?

-They have legs AND tentacles?

( A brief pause for me to argue with the internet)

(Another brief pause for me to rebuild my squid)

So, in my defense I can say that these the exact number can vary as they sometimes lose and regrow them, but generally they have eight legs and two tentacles. Some species will even tear off a limb themselves to present to potential mating partners. It makes the human practice of presenting “Roses and Chocolates” to a potential partner seem somewhat underwhelming. Though in the end, a permanent partnering arrangement will end up costing both an arm and a leg, no matter what your species.

To propel itself through the water a squid’s fins undulate in a peaceful wave-like motion. The mathematicians out there will notice that I have given Squiddy’s fin motion a sin wave which varies in both frequency and amplitude.
If it feels threatened, the squid has a unique way to escape predators. It changes to jet propulsion and obstification. It uses special muscles in its mantel to jet out water from its body whilst secreting a dark unpleasant fluid to deter its predators. More simply put, it swims backwards really, really fast whilst farting ink into the water. Naturally, I absolutely had to build this feature into my creation (Activate2)

To fly this squid, launch on ground or water and pitch up and down and the side frills undulate in a graceful wave like pattern as Squiddy moves forward and back. Roll to turn and when you let go of the controls, Squiddy does too.

You can try grabbing things with the arms tentacles and magnets. This usually ends up with a spectacular game crash, but that’s OK because anything is called entertainment these days. Such as the reality TV show, “The farmer gets a wife”. I lament the day that artfully scripted plotlines gave way to a toxic mud-fest framed around the spectacle of some yokel coming to terms with the aliens in his living room that people keep telling him are called females.
And whether it’s on, or off camera he definitely presents a limb to them at some point.

Activate2: Run away backwards really really fast while farting ink.
Activate4: Swims towards selected target.
Activate6: For those that like to drift.
Activate8: Everything stops
