When a balloon starts flying, you should let go of the rope. This guy didn't understand that!
Act1 to start the burner
Then open throttle to take off
Pitch and roll steers the balloon
It takes some time for the balloon to heat or cool so have patience after opening or closing the throttle.
Takeoff will take a few seconds!
