The STM2B is a Medium tank made by Malei.
History
In 1948,Malei request a new medium tank made to counter new and modern tanks. The tank was required to have a 90mm high velocity gun with a penetration up to 200mm to 300mm. It was also required to have an engine up to 700hp and a top speed at around 30kph, a roomy compartments and decent armour.
As the development progress a new round was introduced which is a newly developed High Explosive Anti Tank-Fin Stabilized (HEAT-FS) which can pen up to 300mm of armour.
The tank we're named the STM2 as the M is for medium.
