The Basher is an early traverse helicopter. In contrast with the Slasher's conscript pilots, these combined gunship/transport choppers were seen as elite aircraft, used only by Citizen troops (Dedicated warrior class with political powers consisting only of either the founders of the NE and their legitimate descendants, or else "genetically pure" Europeans who have undergone the brutal initiation ordeals deliberately modeled on the Spartan Agoge).
Bashers were a fearsome symbol of the Nova Evropan military, as not only was it one of the earliest post-Crumbling forms of air cavalry, but the Citizen warriors that relied on them to deploy on the battlefield were much better equipped than most armed outfits could afford, always being equipped with an iconic battle rifle deliberately modeled off the FG 42 while the most common firearms produced in the post-Crumbling era amounted to bolt-action rifles at most and, on top of this, they were also provided with armor inspired by that of ancient Hoplites.
A tough nut to crack owning to it's armor and, with a good crew, potentially lethal in a dogfight, it'd become infamous for being a large tactical factor in the early conquest of most of Catalonia in the early phase of the Nova Evropan invasion of the CIR and for being the main initial drive for the ensuing arms race.
This particular aircraft is fitted with 4 250 lb bombs. instead of what'd be the usual infantry complement. This loadout is usually employed to clear out landing zones and support airborne troops on the ground.
Controls:
8: VTOL and Trim for Collective Pitch and Cyclic Roll respectively.
