hello guys ive got a cool fictional fighter its actully pretty cooland i love it anywyas heres the history about it:

❄️ CLX-7 “Frostbite” – Experimental Hypersonic Interceptor

History:
The CLX-7 program began in the late stages of the Cold War, around 1986, under a joint experimental initiative known as Project Northlight. The project was reportedly based in the Snowstone Test Range, an isolated airbase chosen for its extreme weather conditions and magnetic interference that made radar tracking difficult.

The goal was to create a hypersonic stealth interceptor capable of responding to high-altitude incursions within minutes — essentially a “ghost fighter” that could launch, engage, and vanish before enemy radar even registered its presence.

Early prototypes, designated CLX-1 through CLX-6, suffered from engine instability and severe thermal cracking due to the extreme stresses of near-Mach-7 flight. The CLX-7, however, introduced a breakthrough: a dual-cycle plasma-aerospike propulsion system cooled using cryogenic fuel lines. This innovation not only solved overheating issues but gave the aircraft its iconic blue exhaust glow, earning it the codename “Frostbite.”

Only two CLX-7 units were believed to have been constructed, with most of the documentation classified or destroyed in 1993 after the Snowstone facility was decommissioned. Satellite imagery occasionally captured unusual contrails over the Arctic Circle in the early 2000s — some aviation historians speculate these were test flights of a surviving Frostbite.

To this day, no official record confirms the program’s existence — but among those who served at Snowstone, one phrase still circulates:

“If you see the frost, it’s already too late.”
