The race takes 3 minutes at most, your plane completes it at less with some minor improvements. 6 gallons is more than enough to make your plane fly for 3 minutes. You have enough fuel to fly for an hour at the moment...

Especially reducing the amount of fuel you carry is important, you'd reduce your planes weight by 30%, that is a huge improvement.

I just wanted to note that a few small adjustments can improve your plane quite a bit.
First of all, you carry 112 gallons of fuel, you only need 5 to complete the course. Lowering the amount of fuel you carry will improve the speed and agility of your plane.
Secondly, your plane will go faster if you set the pitch control to fixed and +80%, also improving the propeller diameter should speed up your plane.
Thirdly, those pitch surfaces on your primary wings do nothing positive for you plane, you better remove them. For pitch surfaces to be effective they should be further away from the center. (I'm not sure whether that would be the center of mass or center of lift)
Oh, and good luck in the tournament.
