The Vagrant's Official Slogan

LORE:

The KF/A-48 "Vagrant" is an Air-Defense Fighter developed by Kodapon Heavy Industries (KHI) and Fractal Arms for the Wisterian Air Force (WAF). It is meant to replace the Sentry in most aspects from combat (aside from counter-anomaly and stealth purposes) due to the Sentry's astronomical cost.

It too is meant to fight Sentry Killers developed by New Lardonia, as the aging Sentry does not boast the stability to deal with them.

New flight systems developed by Fractal, and new materials by Kodapon allow the Vagrant to win 29/30 times in aerial combat (as seen in training exercises), however the main factor at play here is said to be the top-of-the-line training given to Vagrant pilots in comparison to the Sentry pilots.

ARMAMENTS:

• 12x YM-22 "Lancer" Lightweight Multirole Missile (LMM): The classic, reliable YM-22 featured on every Feedback series plane. An omnirange multirole missile with high maneuverability.

• 12x "Hybrid Bomb" munition: The Wisterian standard bombs, capable of skimming the water as torpedoes, or be used traditionally for ground targets.

• 30x "EML" belly-mounted Railgun: A new addition to the Wisterian arsenal. Developed by Fractal, it can fire at high distances without alerting the target to deliver a swift disassembly.

• 2 discardable Bomb pods (that also serve as fuel tanks)
• Wisterian non-stealth standard nav lights
• FT code thrust vectoring (auto-stabilizes at high AOAs, same as the Sentry)
• Powerful afterburner & base speed
• High degree of stability and maneuverability
• Passive radar jamming (makes you much harder to hit by placing main cockpit in the tail)
• Fully functional EML with dedicated HUD
• Wingtip canards that actually work!

GALLERY:

HUD. central HUD seems to measure in metric, while the others are measuring in your chosen units, in my case nautical. central has a slight issue on the speed marker... ignore it, i cant fix it.

All Armaments. EML activated separately from missiles+bombs due to how the HUD is made.

Cobra maneuver... can be done at around 400 KTS by disabling AG8, pitching up, hitting 90-degrees AOA, then pitching down. this one was TVC assisted due to me being too slow to do it smoothly without TVC.

Example of firing the EML. It is good against slow witted targets like bombers, or surprise attacks as it doesn't alert the enemy like missiles do.
