I just saw tonight that "UnstableOrbit" already put out a very nice version of this pair of aircraft. Being that I saw his after I created this one, it is completely without influence. I wanted a realistic landing gear arrangement, therefore the wing booms are NOT realistic in order to fit the gear. Also because these are air breathing engines, I had to use unrealistic air intakes that make the nose also unrealistic. Lastly, in the world of unrealistic, I used thrust nozzles to add thrust, and strategically placed them to be used as trim. The problem with them, is that the power is on White Knight, so if White Knight Crashes, you lose power to the nozzles. It helps to take White Knight high before releasing, giving you more time with vectored nozzle power. I have gotten Spaceship Two up to about 94,000 ft with the nozzles operating. She will hit about 1050 mph at 10,000 ft in level flight. She has a high approach speed for landing. I use about 200 mph over the runway threshold, then kill the power. Only the gear on Spaceship Two retract, so don't forget to retract them before takeoff for a realistic look. Oh, on my iPad Air, I have to use the low graphics setting.
