Tengu T-18 Oruma – Multirole Interceptor & Strike Aircraft
The Tengu T-18 Oruma is a powerful and versatile combat aircraft developed by Tengu Industry in 1964, during the height of the First Imperial War. Built in Honrushu and reverse-engineered from captured foreign designs, the Oruma became one of the Empire’s most adaptable and heavily armed fighters.
Designed as an interceptor, fighter, bomber, and strike aircraft, the T-18 is capable of operating from both land bases and aircraft carriers, making it suitable for a wide range of missions.
It is powered by 2 × TEJ-18 afterburning turbofan engines, giving it strong performance and high-speed capability. The aircraft is armed with a 1 × IAC61A1 rotary cannon, and features multiple hardpoints for carrying missiles, bombs, rocket pods, and more.
The Oruma can also be equipped with custom weapons and gun pods for massive damage output, depending on mission needs. Additionally, it is equipped with an in-flight refueling system, extending its range and mission endurance.
Thanks to its flexibility, firepower, and long-range capability, the T-18 Oruma remains in active service with the Empire’s Air Force, continuing to serve well beyond its original era.
