Try making most of the wing out of strucutral wing and a small part for control surfaces, or all control surfaces on the tail... I tried and it works really well.... this will be hard to beat!

1 thing... You made the cube part of the plane and no carried by it (and only landing gears, pylons, and detachers can touch the cube)
