It is made to be a craft used on the GDI carrier as a short range fighter. It was made to be a compact fighter, yet have a good amount of power. It has 10 air to air missles but no cannon. The cannon was figured just to slow the aircraft down as the ammunition would be to heavy and make the aircraft unbalanced. This aircraft took many different designs, but finally one version made it to combat to be a new fighter. It has many ways to slow down on the carrier, as the fighter was made to land on the light carriers. The aircraft was received well by most pilots, however it was called a death trap by some. @BogdanX True, however there arent many other places to put them. If you put them closer to the engines on the body, then in reality they would be burnt, and if you put them on the horizontal stabilizers in the back the same thing would occur as the vertical stabilizer parachutes.
