A not so old experiment I did lol. No complicated FT I think.

Basic Tutorial on How to do it

  1. Get a detacher and fuel block and place it somewhere (don't hide it yet for convenience)

  2. Set input for detacher whatever you like for this thing I set the input to IAS<400 (I think) I forgor.

  3. Connect fuel block to the detacher. And disconnect everything from it except the detacher. You could do this before step 2 but eh whatever.

  4. Get a Blasto VTOL Engine and a VTOL nozzle (1 nozzle for each engine)

  5. Connect the VTOL Engine to anywhere also change mass scale to 0 for all. VTOL nozzles will be placed near the engines.

  6. Change min and max of VTOL nozzles to zero (we don't need them to move) and change their exhaust scale.

  7. Set VTOL input to Fuel<=x (change x to the percentage of your fuel left for reference the VTOL input for this aircraft is Fuel<=78)

  8. This is optional but I suggest you either add airbrakes to slow it down and change the input to Fuel<=78 on each one or if you have an aircraft that eats a lot of fuel get more engines and change their mass scale and power multiplier but it's optional so ye.

  9. Hide everything (ex. Hide Blasto VTOL inside the main fuselage and VTOL nozzles inside the engines.) And you're good to go :) (probably idk)

Note if you encounter any problems you can always rip apart the aircraft to experiment with it. Also my first tutorial so expect something to be wrong lol

PS: Going above 380-400mph will activate the engine over speed so trying to boom and zoom might cause the mechanism to activate xD

@lewishasnoiq Then just make it to where the detached goes off at 500mph or 223.33 meters per second which is wht the IAS uses in Detachers for some reason iirc
