it was made by a cooperated built by Oni Corporation, slaren systems.inc and Cyro electronics. in late 70's as a powerful STOL recon-attack trainer with carrier capabilities.

The Sanyo R-13 should look like a obsolete 1920's biplane, but it's equiped with the best technologies of that time, air to gound missiles, a short range radar that can detect 4enemies, and engage 2 enemies at same time, countermeasures, unguided rockets and 6 20mm wing guns.

the engine it's two Oil-cooled turbo-radial engines with 1650hp for every engine, and can reach 1997hp at W.E.P

this attack aircraft was gain its fame in the belsheazar golf of zivarak war in 1978 as a great CAS aircraft, also served as a recon aircraft in other wars in southwest bidliav sector.
