After having experimented with the transversal tandem config. I wanted to give the longitudinal variant a try. So this is loosely based on a CH-47 Chinook.
I also took a shot at alternative controls (for example not using the cyclic pitch but have the yoke have an extra layer of control on the collective pitch of both rotors). I could have done that for the roll on the previous chopper but I was still finding my marks with the rotors.
Anyways, this one also come with a load to transport, and while I'm still not too happy about the winch operation, this bad boy can do a nice drop of the jeep inside.
Controls are standard, Trim controls the collective of both rotors. VTOL controls the winch. Bear in mind the high pitch inertia.
-AG2: Helicopter lights
-AG3: Helicopter cargo doors
-AG4: Car engine, steering, lights and machine-gun
-AG5: Helicopter throttle, roll and yaw controls - needed to fly*
-AG6: Car parachute + stabilizator gyroscope**
-AG7: Helicopter stabilizator gyroscopes - for smoother handling
-AG8: Winch magnet

*The idea is that you can de-activate it in the air so the helicopter stays level while you use the controls on the car

**This gyro can help you smoothen a drop on an uneven surface but it's main purpose is actually to recover. I tried to tune the suspension of the car but it's still a but nervous on it's springs. Also I gave the car engine some good horsepower so it can climb steep slopes, but it will easily go into uncontrolable speeds if you push the throttle to full. In fact I wouldn't use it at more than 30% for most driving and even less for more uneven terrain. So the car gyro is here to set it back on it's wheels should you end up upside down.

How to do an airdrop :
-Push the throttle to 100%, activate 2 (opt.) 3 and 5.
-Activate 7 for easier handling - can be set on or off at will.
-Raise the trim above 50% to start lifting
-Use the trim to control rate of elevation
-Use pitch roll and yaw as well to travel to your desired drop point
-Once you've reached it, stabilize the helicopter and press 3
-Slide VTOL down to allow the winch to extend. The car won't roll on its own so press 4 shortly so it drives out
-Press 8 to free the car
-Wait until the car has dropped at least 20m or so and press 6
-You can try to land the helicopter during the car's descent or leave it in place by activating 7, de-activating 5, leave the trim around 45%.
-Once the car has landed you can operate it by selecting one of the 2 cameras on board, press 4 to bring it a alive and off you go. Throttle controls the engine and yaw the steering. Roll control the turret angle.
