The HiT-30 AGM is an advanced air to ground missile designed to defeat both hard and soft targets and can be reconfigured for a variety of missions including being fitted with an anti-radiation seeker head for DEAD operations.
The missile is not able to lock onto a target on its own but once given target data can guide itself to the target even if the target is mobile. Two warheads are available depending on the type of target it is intended to take out, although a new multipurpose warhead is in development. It is propelled by a solid fuel system and has a range greater than 45km.

The key difference between SEAD and DEAD is the intent, not the outcome. While SEAD only seeks to make the enemy think twice about using air defences, DEAD missions are focused on the total destruction.
You can SEAD without DEAD but when you SEAD you can also DEAD. Basically how it goes.
