CSGN-52 USS Kansas – Arsenal-Class Guided Missile Strike Cruiser

Mission & Role

The USS Kansas was conceived as the cornerstone of America’s 21st-century surface strike capability. Unlike traditional cruisers, its primary purpose is not command-and-control, but pure, overwhelming firepower. Designed to lead massed missile salvos, the Kansas serves as a floating arsenal for carrier groups, amphibious task forces, or independent strike missions. Whether launching Tomahawks at hardened inland targets, providing naval gunfire support with its twin 8-inch cannons, or coordinating saturation attacks on hostile fleets, Kansas brings firepower at scale. It is the first ship built under the U.S. Navy’s "Distributed Fires Initiative," created to ensure dominance in long-range peer-level confrontations.

Lore & History

Commissioned in 2036, the USS Kansas revived the arsenal ship concept after decades of shelving. Named for the resilient American state at the heart of the country, Kansas became a symbol of hard-hitting strategic depth. It was the first in the Arsenal-class, a series of heavily armed cruisers meant to fill the firepower gap between aging destroyers and next-gen surface combatants still in development.

That's about it, no close in weapon systems and lags my device so I'm posting it here so I don't do more work for it since I have more things to do. Enjoy ;)

    I don't understand, I think I missed a part because drag point said 970.

Also I think this'll be the last naval thing for the meantime since I am still thinking of what to build
