The F-40 X is a newly modified version of the F-40, having the Ground Maneuverability System removed and sporting a new "Shadow" paint job. The F-40 X is also the first plane in the "F" line to be equipped with a Multiple Missile Rapid Delivery Rack, which greatly increases the rate at which the aircraft can fire missiles.
