The Mikoyan-Gurevich Mig-21 F-13 is the legendary Soviet interceptor, entered in service in 1959 the Mig-21 F-13 is the first variant entered in service this plane was revoltionary for the Soviet ari force it was the first jet whit AAM the AA-2 "Atoll"/K-13 and the first jet taht coud fly at mach 2 also it hold the record for the most produced jet fighterin historywhit more than 10.000 planes, it was designed to intercept american bombers and it was proven doring the Vietnam War also kt was a capable fighter that can Challeng jet like the F-4 phantom.
Despite it old age this plane is still today in service whit a lots of countys but it fasig out do to its age and poor performance against modern fighters.
