Chujiao-6 (China code: HAIG CJ-6 [ 1, factory code: PT6 [ 2, English: Nanchang CJ-6) is a propeller primary trainer developed by China in the late 1950 s. The aircraft has long served in the Chinese Air Force and local aviation schools, and is the main model of the Chinese Air Force primary trainer. The aircraft is designed for two-seat, lower single-wing, front three-point landing gear. The power unit is a 285-horsepower piston-6 A (HS Jia 6A) star air cooled 9 cylinder engine with a two blade automatic pitch propeller. The Chujiao-6 fuselage, wing and tail stabilizers use an all-metal junction
