A stealth fighter technology demonstrater which rivalled the YF-22 (AKA F-22 Raptor) in the ATF Advanced-Tactical-Fighter program to make an aircraft that could possibly deter the SU-27 and MiG-29.
The Program ran late 80s to 1991 with the YF-22 Being chosen as winner then officially redesignated and renamed to the F-22 Raptor.
2 prototypes were made, one nicknamed The Black Widow II, The other, Grey Ghost/Spider.
