Autogyro PSR

Auto Credit Based on ChrisPsaras's Autogyro fast

Yes it autorotates. Be patient untill it gets above blade flapping RPM and then simply fly it like a normal airplane. For take off use the vtol slider on the left to apply some throttle and try to maintain a speed of around 30-35 mph and keep pullin up until the main rotor RPM reach the operating RPM (unknown). Dont overspeed during take off run if the main rotor RPM are low and the blades are flapping. Once it reaches the operational RPM release the stick and around 40-50 mph pull up slightly until lift off. Enjoy the zero speed landings and vertical descents. Vne < 150 mph. Dont overload the rotor by hard pull ups at high speeds, it will overspeed the main rotor RPM and damage the blades. Happy autorotations!

@MarcG There are no helicopters or any other rotorcraft that the rotor blades can handle the weight when they are not rotating. Its the centrifugal force that gives them the strength and stiffness. Just be a little patient and follow my instructions for take off and you will see what i mean

Yep still works fine, I guess I’m just lazy😀

I’ll try it without the gyro @ChrisPsaras

Yes but rotor blades are supposed to be stiff the bowing is caused by load either weight of the blade itself when stationary or the weight of the craft in flight, I’m sorry but yours are way too floppy in my opinion@ChrisPsaras

@MarcG Thanks. But the idea was to use multiple wings for the blades to create the blade element theory. My desing its physically balanced which doesn't need a gyroscope. The rotor rpm is also higher. I use hinges like the real one to eliminate the gyroscopic precession. And i dont care about the looks but for the physics :)

Great design except the rotorhead, I added one from another design, hope you like it.

Cool! I caught a screenshot of it having a bad hair day!
