A spiritual successor to the CAV-3, I started from the ground up using the same control system and arrived at this. As is obvious, it looks entirely different from its predecessor and is no longer dependant on an external fuel supply to get up and running, though this does mean the fuel doesn't last as long. It's generally more streamlined and thus more appropriate for travelling greater distances. It's roughly based on one of the older Kamov designs (I like to think of it as an 'Arctic Expedition' type machine) which I believe are very interesting and unique aircraft. As ever, have some fun with it :D
