Challenge is to create an aircraft with 16 medium jet engines, 2 turbo fans, and 2 small jet engines. It needs to be small enough to take off from USS Tiny but be aerodynamic enough to make it to at least 85,000 feet. Credit goes to @ahappyape for giving me the idea. No modded parts, and no detachable parts. All submissions must be a successor so I can easily find and rate. Everyone who enters gets a 5 star on their entry, Winner gets 3 planes of my choosing rated, second gets 2 third 1. This is in addition to their submission.

I think the secret to mine is not to pitch up or down very much... If you handle it like a regular airplane, it freaks out.

Since I can't personally fly either of these and no one else is entering I think I will call it a draw. And give you both the ratings on planes that deserve recognition

@LordofLego @griffith this is my plane that inspired the challenge. Currently has 18 engines, I added two small engines to the horizontal stabilizers https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/uFMqTn/BlackSwallow

@LordofLego I might have the same issue with yours as well. I like the idea of vertical propellers for lift. Never thought of that

Launching off the Tiny is like flying a Saturn rocket: you appear to have the illusion of control, but you are really at the mercy of physics.

The secret is "don't pull up too fast".

Well, flying is kind of a loose term, but I have high physics and graphics. I sort of took off off of the USS Tiny, but I didn't get far.

@LordofLego what physics setting do you have? I'm able to get it off uss tiny but promptly loose control. Is there a trick to flying this beast?

Not sure mine fulfills all the requirements, but it flies.

@Griffith @hypnotoad @StealthBomber @planesnthings Hoping to use your large reputations on here to gain some traction for this challenge. I'm interested in seeing what types of planes people would come up with.

I'll base the decision on appearance and performance. So make em look as good as they fly
