R-2 "Robin" Sporting Plane

552 RoushSystems  5 days ago

The R-2 “Robin” is a lightweight, single-seat sporting aircraft. Roush Systems designed the plane off of an improvement of an earlier project, one of the first of the company to utilize a central, detailed cockpit. The result is a simple, inexpensive and highly efficient platform that makes flying accessible to new civilian pilots.

An aerodynamic design and good weight allocation make the Robin a very gentle and easy aircraft to fly, maintaining stability even in adverse conditions. The engine is of normal build for aircraft of its type, but other parts of the craft come together to make it both powerful and long-range, easily being able to make the expected routes across the archipelago. The cockpit is fairly universal and straightforward, with wide opportunity for customization and tweaking. It also makes a good opportunity for newer players to get used to flying with a cockpit in the game.

Between its accessibility and performance, those right out of the academy and seeking the independence of solo flying will find the Robin a true pleasure to fly. In the future upon the release of SP2, a remastered/updated robin may be released with new features and improvements.
Be the proud owner of our plane today! Thank you for reading, and have a safe flight!
