The CF-29F Super Leopard was developed alongside the CF-29E in 2012 as its tandem two-seat counterpart, intended primarily for conversion training and multirole operations. Produced by Avro Canada in partnership with Starcrest United, the F-model retained the E’s upgraded airframe with larger wings, twin vertical stabilizers, and expanded hardpoints, but featured a lengthened fuselage to accommodate the second cockpit. Beyond its training role, the CF-29F was fully combat-capable, capable of performing deep strike, reconnaissance, and maritime patrol missions using a wide array of Canadian, American, and Starcrest munitions. Its versatility and ease of adaptation made it a cornerstone of export programs to allied nations operating the CF-29 series.
