The XVAC-019 was a experimental VTOL aircraft that was in the making to develop the first ever VTOL spy aircraft. Plans were simple- make a VTOL aircraft that could hover over enemy territory like a Chinese spy balloon and watch any secret activity with its camera like the SR-71. Development was quick, but the VTOL nozzles could not set the aircraft to stability. So, VDB workers fitted a gyroscopic system inside it that would allow the plane to pitch and roll like a normal aircraft but also stabilize it on takeoff. The VAC-019 was however never developed, but it still made history of the VDB.
