"Time to Sabe the Day!"
ABOUT THIS PLANE:
My Original 2nd Generation Fighter Jet, based on the F-107, A-4, and F-4. It has the body of an F-107, the inlet of an F-4, and the wing layout and capabilities of an A-4.
This aircraft was fairly easy to create, as the layout of the F-107 was relatively simple, allowing for the use of SimplePlanes Landing Gears for its landing gear. I also used the Blasto BFE300 turbofan engine as a placeholder for a massive turbojet engine that has reduced IR Signature and a unique engine noise, whilst maintaining a decent thrust output and fuel efficiency as compared to using multiple engines. The plane is fully equipped with custom weapons from the 1950s, namely the semi-active homing AGM-12 Bullpup, the Anti-radiation missile AGM-45 Shrike, the LAU-131 Rocket Pods, and the AIM-9 Sidewinders. I decided to use these weapons as they reflect the infancy of guided weapons systems of the past, especially the second generation of fighter jets.
AIRCRAFT DESCRIPTION:
Right after the retirement of the F-107 and after it lost to the F-105 Thunderchief, a new project was developed for a Quick Response and Long Endurance Attacker based on the layout of the F-107. The F-107 fuselage was redesigned to have more intakes and fuel capacity for a new turbojet engine that has reduced InfraRed Signature while maintaining thrust output and fuel efficiency. These changes moved the primary wings downward and the rear wings upwards. Due to the fuselage changes, it was able to carry a more powerful gun and a greater amount of ammunition, changing the gun's location towards the bottom of the fuselage of the aircraft. Moreover, the wings were structurally enhanced to carry more loads, and a refuelling probe was added at the nose of the aircraft.
After the project’s completion, the F-107 was redesignated to the F-124 with the nickname of Strike Sabre. While primarily built as an attack platform, it shows decent performance as a dogfighter and as an interceptor.
An attack aircraft born from the F-107, it features an improved body and wings made to carry high loads of fuel and payload, and an enormous turbojet technologically designed to have reduced Infrared Emissions, which is an ideal characteristic for an attack aircraft. Due to the unique engine characteristic, the F-124 creates a loud, unique noise very different from other turbojets, and when you hear a high-pitch whirring sound, you know that there’s a Sabre nearby.

Upvotes and Comments Are Very Appreciated! Thank You Very Much!
In itself, the idea and the concept are very good, I would say excellent, but the plane is very unstable and when flying it always goes down and complicates the flight.
When you want to intercept soviets and make sure they don’t take off again, The Strike Sabre is there to be your best friend.
