The Kagero class and the Yugumo class built after it are known as a type A destroyers. The type A destroyer is considered by the Japanese navy to be a masterpiece of fleet type destroyers. The class of snowwind is also known as the miracle of the destroyer's lucky ship, known as the Immortal Bird! It fought in most of the major Pacific battles and survived with a relatively undamaged hull until the defeat of Japan, which had 38 of its most powerful type A destroyers and was left alone. It also makes fatalists sigh that many things really are not entirely controlled by people. But to say it was a lucky ship, of course, meant for it and its crew, and for the warships it escorted was a great jinx! Any ship escorted by the snow wind ended up in a miserable situation -- so much so that no other ship wanted to sail with him during his battle with radiance.
