Couldn’t decide on making the 200 or 900 so made the 700, First flying in 1999 the CRJ-700 was a further development of the 200 with a lengthened fuselage, new wing, improved engines and aerodynamics, The CRJ-700 would be stretched further into the 900 and 1000 variants and has remained a popular regional jet to this day.
