The AZX02 aircraft, from japanese game Jet Impulse, released on Nintendo DS in 2007. That's a light jet fighter that is adapted for air combat.
In game description, translated from japanese:
"Akitsu fighter designed by Fudo used as training aircraft. It has better mobility but lighter weapons than AZX03."
It may lack of fuel (even with 3 fuel tanks attached to it), then don't go everytime with 100% thrust :p
It has by default 8 AA missiles to intercept everything that's flying, but it can be replaced by some air-ground weps.

It's cool as it is. Wouldn't say no to seeing more of those done with modern techniques, though!
Maybe I will give it a shot myself some time, although, there are so little reference images on the internet, and my DS is broken, so I'm not sure how accurate I can make them. I'm really glad that you made these and kept this niche part of gaming history alive or, made it come back to life.
