The helixcopters used in An Post were simple to fly, with a basic collective, throttle, and yoke, and the right-sided dial opened the rear doors. Switch number 1 turned on the lights, and the pilot flew by compass and with just a fuel guage to help them. Simpler times! While slow by modern standards, the helixcopter was stable, fun, and easy to fly.
