Air Dolomiti S.p.A. L.A.R.E (Linee Aeree Regionali Europee) is an Italian regional airline, wholly-owned by Lufthansa. It is a member of Lufthansa Regional and has its head office in Dossobuono, Villafranca di Verona. Its main base is at Munich Airport and Frankfurt Airport in Germany.

Air Dolomiti operates routes from several Italian destinations to and from Munich and Frankfurt. Most of these services are sold under the Air Dolomiti brand and codeshare with Lufthansa, while a few remain under the Lufthansa brand.

About the Embraer E-Jet series:

The Embraer E-Jet family is a series of four-abreast, narrow-body, short- to medium-range, twin-engined jet airliners designed and produced by Brazilian aerospace manufacturer Embraer.

The E-Jet was designed to complement Embraer’s earlier ERJ family, the company’s first jet-powered regional aircraft. With a capacity of 66 to 124 passengers, the E-Jets were significantly larger than any aircraft Embraer had developed before that time. The project was unveiled in early 1997 and formally introduced at the 1999 Paris Air Show. On 19 February 2002, the first E-Jet prototype completed its maiden flight, and production began later that year.

About I-ADJK:

I-ADJK was Air Dolomiti’s first (out of 17) Embraer E195s to be delivered to the airline. Air Dolomiti chose the E190’s and E195’s for their performance, versatility and their 70-120 seat arrangement. The entire fleet of Air Dolomiti is consisted of 26 E-jets, 17 of them being E195’s.

This specific aircraft had an…unknown first flight date (I presume January of 2009), is 16.3 years old, and was tested at São José dos Campos Airport (SJK/SBSJ), with the test registration of PT-SIQ, and MSN 19000245, marking the 245th E-Jet to have been built.

This specific aircraft has been in service with the following airlines:
Note: any in bold is our subject.
- Air Dolomiti, since 30/1/2009, with the registration I-ADJK.
- It was named "Aida di Giuseppe Verdi" until ??/2/2019.
- New “2023 Arena di Verona Opera Festival | Official Partner” sticker added ??/??/2023

It has stayed in service following flights to places across (central?) Europe ever since.
