The Schott S.25 Sunderland was a British water patrol bomber developed by Schott Brothers for the RAF.The S.25 was used extensively for military purposes after conversion. It was one of the most powerful and widely used seaplanes throughout the Second World War. It was also used in the Battle of the Atlantic (1939-1945) to counter the panic caused by the German U-boats and was named after the city of Sunderland in the north east of England.
